Our first lantern building workshop of the year was a success! Special thanks to @wrcommfdn for supporting our little project this year and giving it a much needed boost! Also, special thanks to @ideaxchng for collaborating with us this year, and @discoverpreston & @cambridge_law_lennox_penney for your continued support! So much joy and collaboration happened and this is just the beginning! This is what it’s all about!

Cambridge Centre for the Arts Call for Exhibition 2026-27

Opening up for exhibition submissions from June 16th - July 14th 2025. Please share to any interested artists in the community!
To propose your exhibition, please send:
10 digital images of your work
Images should be examples or representative of work proposed for the exhibition.
Images should be high resolution .JPG (300 dpi)
Images must be titled by your last name, first name, and title of work using underscores
i.e. Smith_John_Portrait
A comprehensive image list with title, media, date and dimensions (in inches)
Current CV (past and upcoming exhibitions, publications, education, awards)
A brief (250-500 word) artist statement describing your work, influences, and theme for intended exhibition
Combine all files into a single PDF, using the file name YourLastnameFirstname_Exhibition_Proposal
Submissions can be emailed to the Arts Coordinator, Sarah Martin, martins2@cambridge.ca with the subject line “ Your name Exhibition Proposal”.
Proposals will be juried by a panel of Cambridge Arts staff as well as a guest artist juror. If your exhibition is chosen, an honorarium of $500 will be provided for your exhibition.
We thank all applicants, but only those selected by the committee will be contacted. We look forward to seeing your work!

The Cambridge Art Link has arrived!!!!

This is a grassroots program aimed to promote the arts in Cambridge! It’s a rotating exhibition, every month new work will be featured at 3 amazingly welcoming businesses in Cambridge @zazbistrocambridge @grindhousehespeler @monigramcoffee Get out and check out the work and enjoy a treat!

“The Local Dog Park” features original work from 14 Cambridge & area artists! Much of the work is for sale, and you can discover and contact each artist in the link in our BIO! There’s even a contest element where you can enter to win a custom pet portrait!

We hope to make this an annual program (runs for 5 months) with the help of community support and sponsors like @cambridge_law_lennox_penney

This is a Preston Arts Collective project, in Collaboration with @coex.collaborative !
